My name is Alex Galan and I was born in Barcelona (Spain). Growing up I was into film, cartoons, comics, manga and computer games. I am primarily a 3D Lighting, Shading and Rendering artist but have a strong 2D composition background.

I completed an Alias (now Autodesk) Certificate Degree in Maya 3D at the IDEP School in 1998, before attending several courses of graphic design and composition. Since finishing my training and education in March 2000, I have had the opportunity to work on a number of projects ranging from feature film to product design.

I feel extremely lucky to be doing what I’m doing and to have fun doing it. From here, I would like to thank my family and friends and all those people that have helped me along the way.
